Description:

Facilitating the transition of internationally educated professionals (IEP) into Canada is a high priority for government, non-governmental organizations, professional accreditation bodies as well as private sector organizations. York is committed to developing supports for promoting the successful transition of IEPs to Canadian employment commensurate with their foreign qualifications and professional experience.

This Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management for Internationally Educated Professionals appeals to those who already have a human resource related degree from outside of Canada and require some orientation to the Canadian context. The program offers students the foundational skills necessary to succeed in securing positions as a manager in the Canadian context, while also fulfilling the majority of competencies toward the CHRP professional designation.
